A certain company’s actual case, after using it for a period of time, encountered problems. It started maintenance and all the water and ink rollers were dismantled. After repair and reinstallation, and adjustment according to standards, it was found that there was severe ink sticking on the measuring roller. The ink rolls are full and the permeability is severely poor.

Adjust the water roller pressure again, but it still doesn’t work. Everyone was confused and searched for several hours for the reason. Later, it was discovered that this phenomenon occurred in the measurement of four units of the roller.

Therefore, it should not be a problem with water roller pressure regulation, but may also be a problem with the surface hydrophilicity energy of the measuring roller. To this end, we used a clean version of the clean version paste (due to the thin clean version liquid, the cleaning ability is not as good as the clean version paste) to repeatedly wipe the surface of the measuring roller. After rotating the Semi automatic printing slotting die cutting machine again, we found that the ink problem of the measuring roller was solved.

Consider the reason for this phenomenon: at the beginning of maintenance, the measuring roller was removed and placed aside without protection. After 10 days, oxidation appeared on its surface, leading to a decrease in hydrophilicity.

Therefore, in the later maintenance process, when disassembling the measuring roller, a layer of protective glue should be applied to its surface, so that there will be no poor hydrophilicity after maintenance is completed.
