In order to ensure the printing quality, the preparatory work before printing is very important. Here we mainly discuss the following points.
1、 Preparatory paperboard
The operator of the unit shall collect the paperboard according to the requirements on the production work sheet, carefully check the standard scale, production quantity, appearance quality and other conditions of the paperboard, and timely communicate with relevant personnel to deal with any problems found, so as to ensure that the paperboard prepared before the start-up of the post is good.
2、 Prepare ink
When collecting ink, the operator of the unit shall check the quality of ink. The Carton printing machine shall ensure that there are no impurities, lumps, sediments, etc; In particular, the old ink is better filtered with 80-100 irntention filter screen before being put on the machine. The quality of ink will directly affect the application function and service life of anilox roller.
In addition, according to the layout graphics and text to be printed and the face paper raw materials of corrugated board, we should also check the viscosity, pH and other performance indicators of its ink. Generally, the ink viscosity of field version printed on Kraft linerboard is 22-25 seconds, and the ink viscosity of dot and fine text is 14-18 seconds; The ink viscosity of the field version printed on the coated paper is 18-21 seconds, and the ink viscosity of the dot and fine text is 12-15 seconds (the above data is measured by 3# viscosity cup); The operating range of pH value is 8.2-9.5.
3、 Preparation plate
When preparing the required printing plate for the machine, the operator of the unit shall carefully check the content, scale and appearance of the printing plate (such as warping, dirt and damage) according to the production work sheet or drawing or sample box. If it is a new version, it is also necessary to check whether there is adhesion on the surface of the printing plate and whether there are bubbles on the substrate on the back of the printing plate, Whether the hardness of the printing plate is appropriate (generally, when printing the full plate on the spot, it is required to make the printing plate softer, while when printing words, lines and dots, it is also required to make the printing plate harder. This is because the printing plate with lower hardness fits more closely with the appearance of corrugated board, but it is also simple to make the edge of the printing part pile ink. When an Automatic printing machine prints a full plate on the spot, the hardness of the printing plate is usually 32-36 degrees shore hardness; When printing words, lines or dots on a water-based printing press, the hardness of the printing plate is usually shore hardness 36-40 degrees. The common quality problems of printing plate include scratch, crease, impurity, orange peel (wrinkle) and pit, etc.
4、 Preliminary template
After finding the required template according to the production work order or drawings, the operator of the water-based printing press unit should first recognize the carton standard scale of the template, especially the newly manufactured template. He also needs to check the appearance of the template to see whether the knife line is notched, whether there is no defect, whether the elastic pad is firmly bonded, etc., so as to ensure that the template can be used normally after being put on the machine.
5、 Device view
Before the formal start-up, it is necessary to check again and admit that there are no personnel and adjusting things in the unit, then close the unit, start the main engine motor, Printing slotting die cutting and make the machine work at a slow speed (speed ≤ 40pcs / min), check whether the machine works normally and ensure the safety of the machine, people and objects.
